Sunter Lake Conceptualized Into Integrated Water Tourism Area

North Jakarta Administration continues to finalize the development concept of structuring Sunter Lake become integrated water tourism area.

North Jakarta Mayor, Husein Murad said, as the initial stage, arrangement is done in preparation for the Sunter Lake Festival.

Sunter Lake Dam Targeted to Finish Two Weeks Ahead

"Planning and Development Head has explained its concept. The lake will be transformed into integrated water tourism area," he stated, Thursday (2/8).

He explained, the advanced arrangement would make Sunter Lake an open area that is friendly for all ages and activities. Future development will be designed for family sports and recreation activities.

To support tourism, it will also be done on the culinary street vendors. They will be facilitated with adequate and convenient facilities for visitors at a number of lakeside locations.

In addition to facilitating culinary for visitors, the presence of street vendors are hoped to improve the economy, especially people around who become micro business actors. Therefore, his side plans to hold OK OCE program to hold coaching.
